Yes Dirk. I've had luck with Intel Pro 100 and Gigabit adapters. Also have a laptop with Realtek NIC that works with Vista.

Are you running the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Vista? So far, I have not read of anyone having a NIC work with the 64-bit version.
